Tapestry Choral Collective is a professional soloists’ choir dedicated to refined ensemble singing, artistic individuality, and repertoire spanning early, classical, and contemporary traditions. The ensemble operates on a project-based model, with nationally-competitive professional compensation. The ensemble will be led by noted choral conductor and artistic director Brian A. Schmidt, recognized for his expressive leadership, stylistic versatility, and commitment to artistic excellence. Under his direction, the ensemble seeks to elevate vocal artists through compelling programming, meticulous preparation, and performances marked by clarity, depth, and emotional resonance.
